andBeyond Xudum Okavango Delta Lodge

andBeyond Xudum occupies a 180,000-acre private concession in the Okavango — an area of flooded islands, papyrus channels, and open floodplains accessible to no other operator. Nine tented suites on elevated wooden decks look out over the reed-fringed waterways. Every possible activity is offered: mokoro (dugout canoe) on the channels, motorboat excursions to fish eagle nests, walking safari on dry islands, and game drives on the flood margins. The wildlife is outstanding — lion, leopard, wild dog, elephant, and the aquatic specialists: sitatunga, lechwe, and hippo. The annual flood transforms the landscape from July to October.
