Booking terms and conditions.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when a deposit is received and we have written confirmation from the lodges and suppliers involved. Prices are quoted per person unless stated otherwise and are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
Park fees and government charges
National park fees, conservation area fees and government levies are set by the authorities (TANAPA, NCAA and others) and can change without notice. Where a fee changes between quotation and travel, the difference is passed on at cost.
Changes and cancellations
Cancellation terms depend on the lodges and camps in your itinerary and are set out in writing before you pay. We will always tell you the applicable terms before taking a deposit.
Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is a condition of travel. It must cover medical treatment, emergency evacuation and cancellation. Tanzania has no state ambulance service, so evacuation cover matters more here than in many destinations.
Safari and trekking risk
Safari and mountain travel carry inherent risk. You must follow the instructions of guides and rangers at all times.
