Asilia Africa Namiri Plains
Namiri Plains sits in the eastern Serengeti in a sector that was closed to tourism for 20 years to allow the cheetah population to recover. The results are extraordinary: the eastern plains now hold some of the highest cheetah densities in the Serengeti ecosystem, with multiple females raising cubs in the open grassland. The eight tented suites are elegant and spacious. The private concession means very limited vehicle numbers. Lion prides are abundant and the open landscape provides excellent photography opportunities. A specialist destination for big cat enthusiasts.
