Robin Pope Nkwali Camp South Luangwa National Park

Robin Pope is one of the founding names of the Zambian safari industry and Nkwali Camp on the Luangwa River bank is his most celebrated property. Eight open-fronted rooms face the river where hippos bask 30 metres from the breakfast table. The camp pioneered the extended multi-day walking safari in the Luangwa Valley and the guides trained here set the standard for the profession across southern Africa.
